Oceanography Institute
Nha Trang oceanographic Institute is also the National Oceanographic Museum of Viet Nam which has a huge collection of more than 20,000 sea and freshwater species. The selection spreads out over two floors. The ground floor is home to fish tanks of varying sizes that house all manners of marine life.
All kinds of fish you would find in the sea area of Khanh Hoa Province are exhibited in the institute as reef sharks, turtles, living coral, anemones, puffers, lionfish, clownfish, sea horses, and a whole array of colorful reef species, some of which can be found in no other place in the world.
Each of them has a label indicating their name, origin, and characteristics in Vietnamese and English. The upstairs floor is for exhibiting specimens, local boats and fishing artifacts, plus an eighteen-meter long whale skeleton.



Watch the sunset in Hon Chong
Hon Chong is one of the top attractions in Nha Trang that you can’t miss. The name of this spot has two meanings. The word “Chong” can indicate “husband” following to a legend. But it can mean “stack”. Visiting Hon Chong, tourists will be impressed by huge rocks stacked on each other by nobody for a long time ago. In spite of ocean swash, huge wind or storms, they are still stable.



Ba Ho Waterfall
