When stepping into the pagoda, its right side will impress you with a stone dragon sculpture with soft lines representing the Ly dynasty. Therefore, it is a suitable spot for people who are architecture enthusiasts.
The main hall of the pagoda is 1,680m2 in width, which allows hundreds of Buddhist and pilgrims to visit and worship. Especially, this venue has a bronze Buddha statue which is 1.6m high and weighs 700kg.
After exploring Long Son pagoda, you can climb 44 steps to reach the top Trai Thuy hill and contemplate the well-known statue of Buddha in the nirvana. Tourists are strongly impressed by the imposing scene here.
At the top of the Trai Thuy Hill, you can admire Kim Than Buddha statue with a calm and relaxed smile in the clear blue sky. On the way to Nha Trang, whether by car or train, visitors can see the white Buddha statue in the blue sky – a beautiful icon of Long Son Pagoda.
From on the top looking down, you can have a chance to enjoy the overall setting of Nha Trang city, along with seductive islands and huge natural forest scene. Below the Buddha, you can easily see an entrance leading to the space of a series of the walls. They are divided into distinct compartments for the remains of the dead people sent by Buddhist families. Thus, this is one factor creating a sacred atmosphere for this place.
